Fall has been beautiful

The weather has been gorgeous, I mean cool in the mornings and evenings, and warm and sunny in the day, i love that combination with the fall colors and the fall decor, so pretty, Why can it not stay this way all year round?

I have also been changing out everyone's closets and it has been a long arduous job! I think for a full 10 days my room was the dumping ground for clothes and we were walking on and over them to get around. I am happy to report all of that is now done! I feel good about it.

I got the tickets! they sold out in 1 minute and 1 second but I managed to score 4 of them...very excited I set my alarm for this and was at my computer at the ready at 9.59am and as soon as 10am hit I hit the button and got my tickets....yeah :)

Not feeling all that great today, this cold hit fast, head pressure and stuffy nose, not fun! and yesterday I started a cleaning out of all the toys that didn't get finished and therefore I still have little toys all over the playroom floor, waiting to be sorted! and the thought of bending over to sort them doesn't sound good to me....Oh well it will get done eventually!

I am waiting here online to try and get free tickets to see Courageous next week via Joy FM. I have 4 mins to head over there....better go.

Hopefully tomorrow I will feel a lot better.

I have been reading other peoples blogs, and i really enjoy it, I keep up with about 5 of them now,

I haven't advertised mine at all to anyone, but maybe someone will happen upon it :)

I love my life, It is full and busy and exhausting, raising 5 children to be productive adults is a daunting task. sometimes I am really lazy and pretend I don't see the kid that just swiped a piece of candy thinking I didn't see, or pretend I didn't just see them repeat the behavior I had told them not too....As that means I have to be consistant and go through with the discipline. and that is tiresome someday s :)

Thankfully I am only sometimes lazy and for the most part I am onto these little people and their antics and I follow through and consequences are dealt out.

We are all growing and learning.

Honestly if you start this consistent discipline out early (which we did) It will really be few and far between that you will have to discipline.
instruct always, but discipline not as much.

It is a rainy dreary day here today and I don't have a lot of motivation to get anything done, and believe me there is so much to do! I feel kinda blah, the looming winter sort of depresses me, I know we've still fall to go and Christmas but after that it is just cold and more cold and that I do not look forward to, and today's weather is reminding me that it is on its way :(

Is Blogging for me?

I tried this a few yrs ago, Wow 3 yrs ago to be exact, and I wrote a couple of posts and that was it, I still don't know if this kinda thing is for me or not, first off I am horrible at grammar and so all my sentences will be terrible! oh well if you can overlook that We'll be fine.

So 3 yrs later, 3 yrs older, 3 yrs wiser? kids are most definitely 3 yrs bigger! and I now have a teenager living in my house!

It is all going by so quickly! Here we are at the end of summer 2011, kids just started back at school. we had a good summer, lots of swimming, lots of fun, a mini vacation to Holiday World and the usual annual things that we tend to do each summer, I will post about those later. here they are for now! my 5....are they not gorgeous!
